The Socceroos have failed to capitalise on a glut of goalscoring chances in Honduras as they were held to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their World Cup play-off today.
Australia dominated and had four shots on target to one but simply couldn't make them count in San Pedro Sula, with striker Tomi Juric fluffing the two best opportunities of the game.
It means the Socceroos must win Wednesday's second leg at ANZ Stadium in Sydney to book their spot at Russia 2018.
