New Zealand's Next Top Model - the local version of Tyra Banks' worldwide hit reality television series - debuted on TV3 Friday with the network claiming high ratings for the programme.
The first episode of the show followed the audition hopefuls as they were whittled from 33 girls downto the 13 that will now compete to be New Zealand's first Next Top Model.
The show, the first New Zealand adaptation of the Top Model format, also proved to be a ratings winner for TV3, launching with a 29 per cent share of the 18-49-year-old audience age bracket.
All 13 contenders are now living in an Auckland mansion where each week they take up a modelling challenge and face assessments from the judges. Who will be the first to be sent packing - and who will come out on top?
