KEY POINTS:
Six days after cancelling his wedding to stylist Tameka Foster, R&B singer Usher reportedly tied the knot with her after all on Friday.
People magazine reports that the couple exchanged vows in a low-key ceremony at the office of Usher's lawyer.
The wedding was a far cry fromthe couple's planned nuptials, which were set to take place more than a week ago at music mogul L.A. Reid's home in the Hamptons.
The couple had reportedly spent $10,000 on invitations and lined up singer Robin Thicke to perform.
Speculation over the reason for the original celebration's cancellation was rife in Hollywood last week, with rumours flying that the couple had argued over everything from wedding plans to the fact that Usher's mother, Jonetta Patton, didn't approve of Foster.
However the couple insisted the ceremony had been called off because Foster, who is five months pregnant with their first child, needed to be hospitalised.
"I was pushing myself way too hard," she told People. "But I am fine and the baby is fine."
