By the time they make it on stage at Vector Arena next February, it will have taken Roxette only 25 years to get to New Zealand.
In 2012, the Swedish duo of Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson were forced to cancel their Auckland show after Gessle fell ill on the flight from Stockholm, days before they were due to play.
But the pair have finally rescheduled what will be their first New Zealand performance, kicking off a new world tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their first hit single, The Look, in Auckland on February 7.
That song topped the Billboard charts in 1989, and in the quarter of a century since, Roxette have sold more than 75 million albums worldwide thanks to karaoke favourites like Joy Ride, It Must Have Been Love and Listen To Your Heart.
Their tour two years ago took the duo around the world twice over, playing to more than 1.5 million fans - and it sounds like we missed an amazing show.
"Unless you'd seen it for yourself, you can't imagine the mass frenzy the return of Roxette caused," said the Herald Sun in Australia.
Meanwhile Tone Deaf raved: "Every hit gets a big rock ending, every ballad sees several hundred lighters aloft and we love every moment of this trip back to the 90s."
Tickets go on sale for Roxette's one New Zealand show on May 27 from Ticketmaster. Pre-sales for My Live Nation members begin on May 21.
Kid Ink.
Also heading this way for the first time is Kid Ink, an L.A. rapper, producer and performer who apparently laughs in the face of boundaries.
Tattooed from head-to-toe, the hip-hop up-and-comer released his first full-length album, My Own Lane, earlier this year, hitting number three on the Billboard 200 chart.
And though he might be the new kid on the block, as a producer he has worked with Sean "Diddy" Combs, Sean Kingston and more.
His word-play is described as "fiery" and "effortless", and he claims his single, We Came To Party, "plays off people hitting each other up on Instagram. You could call it a social network record".
Kid Ink will perform one show at The Studio on August 20. Tickets are available from Dash Tickets.
