STUDIO 2
As long-suffering parents finally celebrate the start of the school year, the networks swing back into action with their kids' entertainment.
This year, Studio 2 is expanding from its regular five weekdays and adding a Saturday show. Presenters Matt Gibb and Dayna
Vawdrey are fronting during the week, while the new Saturday morning show will feature the familiar faces of Vicki Lin and Jordan Vandermade, who will also pop up on the show during the week.
Like the weekday show, the weekend edition will be live and fast-paced, with the emphasis on interaction. Favourite segments such as Super Squad, where the kids get to shine, will return - although this year it will move away from an inter-school competition and be open to teams of children from anywhere to take on the various challenges.
I-Spy will remain much the same, with three teams of two agents trying to win spy challenges that will give them clues to help solve a mystery.
An addition to the show will be The Hub.tv, which the team is keeping hush-hush at present, but promises it will put the active into interactive.
Kids can also look forward to the return of popular shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants, which is back on weekdays on TV2 at 5pm.
