If there was ever an embarrassing internet mishap, this is it.
What appeared to be album review for Rihanna's upcoming offering was allegedly published before the writer even had a chance to hear her new music.
The full draft, giving a run down on the singer's new record, complete withbrackets suggesting content to be added at a later date, accidentally went live on Yahoo! News.
Best-selling author Ben Greenman tweeted the offending copy, commenting that it was a "masterpiece of post-modern non-journalism".
He later posted the piece again saying the idea of it was "mind boggling".
A link to the bare bones article now leads back to the homepage and its author Chris Riotta has taken to social media to clear up any confusion over the piece penned for Mic for Yahoo!
He wanted people to know it was intended to run as a "breaking news" piece announcing the albums arrival rather than an actual review.

Yahoo! News PR manager Megan Rose explained how the mishap happened to iMediaEthics.
"Some stories on Yahoo's homepage are selected by an algorithm, including this MIC post, which was flagged for being in violation of Yahoo's editorial policy and was removed within a short time," she said.
Rihanna's album was rumoured for release on Black Friday via Tidal, but never appeared.
The singer has however announced the Anti 2016 world tour and a new cryptic video, in which she's standing in front of sound equipment and becomes overwhelmed by the beat.
She posted the video called Anti Diary 2 on her Twitter feed, with little other explanation.
