The most popular songs to sing in the shower might surprise you

Many of us are guilty of busting out a tune while enjoying a shower.

According to Spotify's CEO Daniel Ek, there are 39,000 playlists called "Shower" active on the music streaming service.

After adding up the numbers, Spotify revealed to Business Insider the 20 most popular songs people around the world sing along to during their showers.

The winner of the No. 1 spot might suprise you: it's Wham!'s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.

Other musicians featured on the list include The Weeknd, Imagine Dragons, Iggy Azalea, Shawn Mendes and Meghan Trainor, while classic hit-makers, Neil Diamond, The Supremes, Earth, Wind and Fire and Ace of Base also made the top 20.

We're just surprised the Sesame Street classic bath-time song Rubber Ducky wasn't included.
