Shortland Street hunk KJ Apa may be taking another break from the show to tackle Los Angeles. And that's not be the only bit of bad news for fans of the soap's poster boy - he might no longer be TV's most-eligible bachelor.
The 17-year-old has been spending time withmodel Evelyn Rose, who told Spy she is hoping to catch up with him in the US next month.

The pair have been spotted in Ponsonby looking very cosy and have posted selfies on Instagram. It's not hard to see why they make a good match - young, gorgeous and on the verge of global domination.
For most of the year, 18-year-old Rose lives overseas to fulfil her modelling obligations. She was back this week to hang with friends and sort out her visa.
Apa, a King's College student and best mate of Boston Ridge, travelled to LA on his last break from school. He was joined on the meet and greet by his manager Mandy Jacobsen.
A Shorty Street spokeswoman could not confirm if Apa was jetting off, but told Spy to expect him to be on screens for some time yet.
Spy thinks Apa's big Hollywood break is not far off - and having Rose on his arm should double the doors opening.
