When Max Key appeared in social media photos with Mona Dotcom at Roxy nightclub recently, his Prime Minister dad showed his support by saying: "He's 19 years of age and he goes to clubs."
The young Key is one of New Zealand's most eligible bachelors and Spy included him inour "Hot List". So does he have a love interest?
Spy understands he recently Instagram messaged blonde bombshell Kimberley Owen seeking a date. The daughter of multi-millionaire Steve Owen is one of the hottest rich girls about town, spending many winter seasons abroad. But she wasn't kissing and telling.
Owen: "On election night Dad held a big party and I organised a life-size cut-out of John Key. The girls and I posed it up with him and Max spotted it on Instagram and messaged me. We went back and forth a couple of times until my boyfriend asked me who was messaging and I stopped messaging ... my boyfriend thought it was funny."
So if not Owen, then who? Spy has chosen some other possible dates for Key:
- The queen of Ponsonby nightlife, Courtney Rupe, 24, daughter of SPQR owner Chris Rupe. She is newly single and turns heads with her charm, beauty and social status.
