SIX60 are hitting the road for a New Zealand tour this summer, and they're bringing popular Norwegian duo Nico and Vinz with them.
The boys have teamed up for The New Waves World Tour, which will take them through Europe later this year before they return home in January, having spent much of 2017 working and recording in London and LA.
After all that, Six60 frontman Matiu Walters says that the band can't wait to get back on stage and promises to bring the new material they've been working on home for their Kiwi fans.
"This tour is really exciting because we'll be travelling across Europe supporting Nico & Vinz in their part of the world, before they come to New Zealand for the first time to support us on the New Zealand dates."
"We met Nico & Vinz when we were recording in their studio in LA and discovered that we've got a lot in common in what we believe about music and the way it affects and connects people, and how our music is influenced by our roots and genres like R&B."
"The New Waves World Tour represents how music is like the tides that ebb and flow, eventually ending up on the other side of the world. Both bands have got new parts of the world to see, and fresh music to share with our fans."
But that's not all; the two groups will also be joined by Kiwi hip hop up and comer Kings, who took over the scene last year with his massive hit Don't Worry 'Bout It. And in Auckland, they'll also be joined by legendary Kiwi producer P Money.
The tour will hit Christchurch, Wellington, Tauranga and Auckland and all tickets go on sale at midday on August 18 via Ticketek for Christchurch and Ticketmaster for everywhere else.
The New Waves World Tour dates are as follows:
January 6: Horncastle Arena, Christchurch
January 8: TSB Bank Arena, Wellington
January 11: Wharepai Domain, Tauranga
January 13: Villa Maria Winery, Auckland (with P Money)
