Shane Warne says he will ask his ex Elizabeth Hurley to bring along the engagement ring he gave her when the former couple meet next week.
The cricketer was the surprise evictee from reality show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here on Wednesday night, with many people expecting him to win the reality TV show.
While in the South African jungle, Warne became known for spilling a few stories, including some about his famous relationship with actress Hurley.
During one conversation, his campmates Havana Brown and Brendan Fevola told the cricketer he should be able to ask Hurley to return the $60,000 blue sapphire engagement ring he gave her, as their split was amicable.
Since his eviction, Warne revealed he plans to act on the advice when he meets Hurley in London next week.
"I didn't know what the protocol was, I will ask her to bring her ring when we catch up when I'm back in London," Warne told AAP.
The cricketer will be in London and then India for the Twenty20 World Cup, but the chat with Hurley could get a little awkward.
During another of his candid chats with Laurina Fleure and Brown, Warne said he found Hurley's relationship with her ex Hugh Grant weird in the beginning.
From Warne's comments, some assumed that Grant's relationship had something to do with the split, which the cricketer denies.
"It's not actually what I said. I never ever, in any way, shape or form, said that Hugh was to blame for the break-up...
"What I did say was I found it weird at the start of our relationship when I went back to Melbourne to visit my children, and Elizabeth had to stay (in the UK) and work that Hugh would come and stay over at our house for the weekend. That's just not what I was used to," he said.
"So I found that a bit strange, odd and a bit weird but once I got to understand their relationship on a pure friendship basis, I was cool with it, it was all fine."
"Elizabeth didn't do anything wrong, I didn't do anything wrong, it was just one of those things where we ended up going our separate ways and we still remain great friends," he said.
Warne has been a tabloid darling for years and mostly seen as a lovable larrikin. However, he's also been beset by ongoing rumours and stories about alleged "sexcapades".
He said his reason for going into the jungle was to show people that he's actually a decent guy.
"I'm pretty proud of everything I achieved in there and I'm glad people had the chance to see the real me in there, which I hope they liked," he said.
He admits he's disappointed not to make it to the final three, but says he can't be too upset as his stint in the jungle may have landed him a date with his crush, Carmen Electra.
Brown, who knows Electra, promised to set Warne up with the actress and the pair exchanged texts while Warne was in the jungle.
"I think she's great and she looks like she has fun, so I'll be following that up for sure and I'll keep you posted," he said."If something like that comes out of the jungle, it was all worthwhile."
