A departing Sky TV customer who took to Facebook to vent about the cable TV's services has seen his post go viral.
Christchurch resident Zane Young said he was "pissed off" and was leaving Sky because it had become too expensive compared to other TV options.
"I'm disappointed," wrote Young at the start of his rant, posted to Sky TV's Facebook page on Wednesday. "You're like an ex girlfriend - the only time I ever hear from you is when you want money."
His post has been applauded by many who say they feel exactly the same way.

Young said he'd been a Sky TV customer for seven years, and had spent $140 a month on its services over that time - a total of $11,760.
The last straw came when a friend was offered a cut price deal to have a Sky TV and Sky Sport package for just $40 a month for six months - an offer he'd never received despite seven years of loyalty.
Young left Sky with some "parting advice", telling the channel the changes he thought it should make to keep customers happy.
"It's time you pulled your big boy pants up and admit defeat. If you didn't have Super Rugby you wouldn't have a business," he wrote.
"Reduce your price and move to an online-based platform where you pay per channel."
Finally, Young detailed all of the things he wished he'd spent his money on instead of Sky TV.
His list includes 57 years of streaming services Netflix or Lightbox, 117 nights out for a meal with his family, an overseas holiday or a new car.
He ended his post by saying: "If it wasn't for the rugby I would of gone sooner but due to you not showing me the same loyalty I showed you - I'm gone.
"Thanks for the memories. Goodbye Sky my old friend, I won't be back to talk again."
He is yet to get a reply from Sky.
Sky is yet to respond to a Herald request for comment.
Young's post has attracted 2600 comments and 1200 shares, with many readers agreeing with his sentiments.
"We just discussed leaving Sky tonight," wrote one. "Thinking of pulling the plug too," said a second.
"Sky will be dead to me the second I can get the rugby online," wrote a third.
Another said: "We are on the brink too ... its the rugby that keeps us hanging in there ... but we too are close."
Sky has made some changes lately, axing The Zone and replacing it with a box set channel for bingeing.
It also slashed its daily and weekly Fan Pass subscription service, and almost doubled the cost of its month pass, leading to an outcry in May.
