Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria posts a selfie of herself 24 hours after birth of third child

It is good to see a prominent woman reveal what bodies look like after giving birth.

Hilaria Baldwin, the wife of 30 Rock and Beetlejuice actor Alec Baldwin, has given birth to their child, a son Leonardo.

Within 24 hours she took a side-on selfie in her Heidi Klum Intimates' bra and knickers on how she looked.

I took this yesterday when Leonardo was about 24 hours old. I did the same thing right after Rafael was born. It always makes me a bit nervous to do something like this, but I feel that in the age of such strong body shaming, I want to do all that I can to normalize a real body and promote healthy self esteem. Many of you know that I love to show the process of life's experiences on the body and I am a firm believer in how a good diet and the right balance of exercise make us happy, healthy, and strong. Let 32-year-old Hilaria explain: "It always makes me a bit nervous to do something like this, but I feel that in the age of such strong body shaming, I want to do all that I can to normalize a real body and promote healthy self esteem," the yoga instructor said.

She answered what she said most women were thinking.

"Did I have a c section?: No, I pushed him out Where are all the pads for bleeding?: I took them out briefly to snap this pic as there is a limit to how much you need to see ??," Hilaria wrote, adding: "Where am I?: in the hospital room bathroom #glamour."

Hilaria gave birth to their first child, Carmen in August 2013 and then she gave birth to her son Rafael in June last year when she, as she said, posted this selfie on her Instagram page.

The fitness guru said in her latest Instagram photo caption that she will document her journey of getting back in shape. She called it 366 days of living clearly and invited followers to join her.

"Many of you know that I love to show the process of life's experiences on the body," Hilaria wrote. "And I am a firm believer in how a good diet and the right balance of exercise make us happy, healthy, and strong."

Alec also has a 20-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from his first marriage to actor Kim Basinger.
