Maynard James Keenan's art-rock side project Puscifer is coming to New Zealand for its first New Zealand show.
The group will perform at Auckland's Vector Arena on January 29 on the back of their critically acclaimed third album, Money Shot.
The show will include a performance by mysterious masked-wrestling quartet Luchafer.
Keenan, Puscifer's singer and composer, is a regular visitor to New Zealand, having played many shows here with his popular art-metal act Tool.
While here he'll also be a guest speaker at Pinot Noir NZ 2017 event in Wellington.
Keenan owns Caduceus Cellars and Merkin Vineyards in Northern Arizona, where he now lives.
Puscifer is just one of Keenan's side projects, along with heavy rock group A Perfect Circle.
Puscifer's touring line-up also includes guitarist Mat Mitchell, singer Carina Round, drummer Jeff Friedl, keyboard player/vocalist Mahsa Zargaran and bassist Paul Barker.
Keena's focus on Puscifer might disappoint some Tool fans desperate for the heavy metal heavyweights to release a new album. Their last release was 2006's 10,000 Days.
Tickets for Puscifer's Auckland show go on sale on September 23.
