The controversial spin-bowling legend, Shane Warne, is being monitored for signs of infection after he was bitten on the head by an anaconda after submerging his head in a tank full of rats.
The bizarre scene took place during an episode of reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here."
Warne also dunked his head into boxes full of African clawed frogs, scorpions and Madagascan hissing cockroaches.
After these debasing acts, Warne was presented with a tank full of snakes - reportedly his biggest fear.
He protested, "Aw, no, come on."
The show's presenter warned he might be more attractive to the snakes having just had his head covered in rats.
The snakes were not venomous, but Warne is being monitored for infection.
Warne made headlines earlier in the week for his comments on evolution.
"Basically I'm saying, aliens. We started from aliens," he stated.
