Kerryn Wynn gets in the groove at Elvis in the Park at Henderson's Cranwell Park yesterday, despite the weather. Picture / Nick Reed
Elvis has left the park.
Cranwell Park, Henderson, that is.
But not before entertaining a hardy crowd who braved a dull Auckland afternoon to celebrate the King of Rock & Roll's 81st birthday.
Kerryn Wynn, of South Auckland, pulled on his jet-black, gold- and red-studded jacket with its high collar
and broad belt and crooned to the audience in front of a large Stars and Stripes US flag.
He wasn't alone. The event was a chance for other Elvis imitators to get behind the microphone.
