Kerryn Wynn, of South Auckland, pulled on his jet-black, gold- and red-studded jacket with its high collar and broad belt and crooned to the audience in front of a large Stars and Stripes US flag.
He wasn't alone. The event was a chance for other Elvis imitators to get behind the microphone.
The Memories of Elvis Fan Club free Elvis concert is in its 17th year, and celebrates the life of the late American singer, who died in August 1977 at the age of 42.
