Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has been left with second degree burns on the set of his new music video.
Cornell, who decided to do his own stunt for the western-style video, suffered problems during a hanging stunt.
During filming, he decided to tackle his own stunts for Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart and it left him nursing a small injury.
According to TMZ.com, Cornell was to be hanged as a liquid chemical was poured on the noose around his neck.
But after having to repeat the scene a number of times, the substance eventually rubbed off on his neck and burned his skin.
The singer has yet to comment on the news.
