Kiwi comedians Cal Wilson and Urzila Carlson have been tapped for an international Netflix comedy special which will feature 47 comics from 13 regions around the globe.
The as-yet untitled special will feature half-hour sets from each comedian, set to be primarily taped at the upcoming Just For Laughs festival
in Montreal, as well as in Brazil, Mexico, India, Germany and the Netherlands.
All episodes will be released at once in 2019, with sets available in seven languages - French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Dutch, German and English.
Carlson shared the news on Twitter, saying; "I'm heading to @justforlaughs in Montreal to film a little somethin somethin for #Netflix."
"Ok, yes, I'm a little bit excited about this, then," Wilson also shared on Twitter.
