TV One will screen the two-part mini-series, Elizabeth I, following its Golden Globe win for best TV mini-series or film.
Mirren also won a Globe for her role as Elizabeth I and Jeremy Irons wonbest supporting actor as the Earl of Leicester.
The two-parter explores the personal and public side of England's most enigmatic queen. Part one explores her tempestuous relationship with the Earl as it survives a French suitor, war, treason, and illness.
Elizabeth I is up for six Oscars, alongside Mirren's Oscar-nominated film The Queen.
It screens as part of TV One's Sunday Theatre on February 18 at 8.30pm.
