Lorde producer up for second Silver Scroll

Last year it was the first major award given to Lorde and co-writer Joel Little for Royals.

This year Little's name figures again among the finalists for the New Zealand song of the year award, the APRA Silver Scroll, as a co-nominee with Broods for Bridges.

The hit by the synth-pop duo is one of five songs announced today by APRA ( Australasian Performing Right Association, the representative body for songwriters) for its top award.

The other finalists are The Phoenix Foundation for Bob Lennon John Dylan, Wellington singer-songwriter Louis Baker for Back On My Feet, folk-pop songstress Tiny Ruins for Me At The Museum You In The Wintergardens and country star Tami Neilson for Walk.

The awards will be presented at the ceremony at Wellington's TSB arena on Thursday October 30.

The ceremony - including performances, speeches, and the next induction into the NZ music Hall of Fame - will be streamed live on nzherald.co.nz.
