Business is booming for Kiwi actor Martin Henderson.
After small-screen successes in Aussie drama Secrets and Lies and American series Red Road, he has three movies on the go - and is mixing it with some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
The first of the trio is big-budget Universalblockbuster Everest, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Keira Knightley.
The film, due for a September release, tells the story of a hellish blizzard on the world's tallest mountain in May 1996, when eight people died - including Kiwi mountaineering legend Rob Hall, who wouldn't leave the side of a client he was guiding.
He was able to say goodbye to his wife, Jan Arnold, back in Christchurch in heartbreaking phone calls from the mountain.
Knightley plays Arnold, and Henderson and Gyllenhaal portray guides Andy Harris and Scott Fischer. Rob Hall is played by Australian actor Jason Clarke.
Henderson recently finished filming independent movie Juveniles, which also stars Anna Paquin's husband, Stephen Moyer, of True Blood fame.
He is currently on set in New Mexico, filming another indie movie, Hellbent, in which he plays a fugitive drifter alongside Hunger Games star Isabelle Fuhrman.
