Kanye West has left the hospital after receiving treatment for exhaustion.

The Bound 2 hitmaker left the UCLA Medical Centre after being hospitalised more than a week ago for "exhaustion" and "sleep deprivation".

And the rapper is now home with his wife Kim Kardashian West and their two children - Saint, 11 months, and North, three - after leaving the hospital with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and his personal physician Dr. Michael Farzam. However, Kanye will still be receiving treatment at home, TMZ reports.

And Kim, 36, will no doubt be pleased as a source previously claimed she wants "nothing more" than to have Kanye home for Christmas.

A source said: "Even if Kanye is recommended by the doctors to stay in the hospital for the foreseeable future, Kim still wants him to be home for Christmas.

"She would be happy for him to return to the hospital afterwards, but Kim wants nothing more than to be with her kids and Kanye in the comfort of their own home and not in the confines of a hospital bed for Christmas. It is her current hope and frame of mind and she is looking to make it happen no matter what."

Meanwhile, Kanye will also be glad to be going home as he has been desperate to make music in hospital but has been warned he must "rest".

An insider added: "Kanye keeps wanting to work. At the hospital, he requested that recording equipment be brought to the hospital so he can record in his bed.

"And he has kept asking to see sketches of his fashion lines. He continues to want to work and Kim has to keep telling him to rest."
