Actress Jennifer Lawrence took to Facebook to quell rumours she doesn't wash her hands, while in Paris for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 premiere. Photo / Getty
Jennifer Lawrence needs the world to know she washes her hands after going to the bathroom.
The actress who rarely uses social media took to her Facebook page to prove that she is hygienic, after she claimed in a recent interview with MTV that her worst habit was not washingher hands after she went to the toilet.
Apparently, it was all a joke with her Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, but her sense of humour has backfired.
"I hate talking to the internet but I can't get asked another question about my hygiene on this press tour," she wrote on Facebook.
"I told MTV I didn't wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world.
"Of course I wash my hands after going to the bathroom! (I can't believe I've put myself in a situation where I even have to say that.) Anyway with all the rumours I've ever heard about myself this is the one I really had to put to rest -Jen."
But she couldn't really leave it without making a joke so she also posted a video implying she'd just finished peeing in a bidet in a hotel bathroom.
