His wife was robbed at gunpoint but Kanye's fans are mad he didn't finish a show

Kanye West cut his show short at The Meadows festival in Queens, New York last night, and understandably so.

His wife and the mother of his children, Kim Kardashian was being held at gunpoint in Paris.

Kanye told his audience "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. There's a family emergency. I have to stop the show."

He then dropped the mic and walked off stage.

The crowd was confused and downright outraged, with one angry woman screaming "this is so Kanye, what the f***?"

You would think that anyone saying they had to leave to attend to a "family emergency" would call for a little sympathy?

Apparently not.

In the hours following the attack on Kim Kardashian, people took to social media not to share their best wishes or make sure the rapper's family was OK, but to attack Kanye for putting his family first.
