A group of Fifth Harmony fans just made such a scene outside the studio where the group was doing an interview, one of them ended up getting invited in.
The group of around 20 fans turned up at NZME headquarters in Central Auckland having all met on Twitter, rallying around19-year-old Ina Manama - an apparent unofficial leader of Fifth Harmony's Kiwi fan club.
They spoke in excited screams and gave impromptu - yet rehearsed - performances of Fifth Harmony hits like Work From Home, while they waited in the wind and rain.
They'd spent the previous night waiting for hours at the airport and later at the group's hotel for a glimpse of singers, of X-Factor US fame.

Once the fans got wind their idols would be appearing at ZM and Flava radio stations, they turned up outside the studios with their faces pressed against the windows, armed with cameras, cell phones, and armfuls of gifts for the pop group.
Manama and fellow fans Alain's Peacock, 19, and Kaya Takirau, 17, said it was the best day of their lives seeing Fifth Harmony in the flesh.
"They're so talented. And they're all about equality. They stick to what they believe in and they won't let anyone tell them anything else. They're amazing," they say.
So when Fifth Harmony turned up, they erupted into song and waved manically at the girls they describe as "goddesses", until group member Dinah-Jane Hansen recognised Manama as a "long time fan" and had her brought into the studio.
Fifth Harmony are in New Zealand to play a free acoustic show at Auckland Town Hall's Concert Chamber, thanks to iHeartRadio and 2degrees.
