Katy Perry announced her arrival in Aotearoa on Instagram with a simple "hi".

Dressed in an Addidas tracksuit, the Dark Horse star posted a photo of herself hanging onto the side of a helicopter infront of a lake - most likely Lake Erskine - and snow-covered mountains in the South Island of New Zealand.

Katy Perry is performing at Auckland's Vector Arena on December 19 and 20.
