In another section of the tape, the woman is heard saying, “I don’t know when I’m allowed to talk and when I’m not”.
“Right now, you’re not, stop. It’s not my f***ing fault,” the man replies.
The Daily Mail reported the disturbing post was the latest in a series of abuse allegations Firerose had levelled at Cyrus since their split.
Cyrus strongly denied the allegations and claimed he was the victim of her verbal abuse instead.
Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rosie Hodges, outlined fresh claims in the caption to her post.
“I spent years being terrified,” she wrote.
“I was trained to be afraid of what would happen if I even dared to think about sharing a glimpse of the truth I was living behind closed doors,.
“Over the years, my spirit was systematically worn down so that I became a shell of the person I was. That is always what happens with narcissistic abuse.”
The former couple began a relationship after collaborating on the single, New Day, in 2021.
They became engaged in August 2022 after Billy Ray’s split from wife Tish Cyrus, mother of Flowers star Miley Cyrus.
However, the short marriage ended in a highly publicised separation, with Cyrus citing “inappropriate marital conduct” and irreconcilable differences.
Both parties have reportedly entered into new relationships. Cyrus is dating actress Elizabeth Hurley.
