Interesting twist on Pate. The kahlua sweentens the chickens livers and adds that hint of elusive chocolate that all woman love. (and men). Goes beautifully with bubbles.
Ingredients
250 g | Chicken livers (Main) |
100 g | Butter |
6 cloves | Garlic, sliced |
1 tsp | Fresh thyme |
1 whole | Small red onion, chopped |
Directions
- Place all ingredients in pan. Gently fry until chicken livers are cooked. Add salt and ground pepper to taste.
- Remove from pan and add 1/4 cup kahlua. Place in blender and puree. Place in two white ramekins, cover and place in fridge. Serve with good quality crackers.
