Leftfield Sports Cafe in receivership

Auckland's Leftfield Sports Cafe has been placed in receivership. The Princes Wharf bar's owners include rugby and media personalities Zinzan Brooke, John Kirwan and Ric Salizzo.

The pub's board yesterday said a downturn in the hospitality trade coupled with an unusually wet winter had meant Leftfield had not performed to expectations.
