Landlords' CEO seeks to improve image

Ashley Church is the new chief executive of the Auckland Property Investors' Association.

Church is a former Napier City councillor and has a background in property and corporate management.

The association, which has more than 100 members, is setting out to counter the negative portrayal of residential property investment.

President Andrew King says more education programmes are being planned for landlords.
