From stereo to surround sound

Slab DSP has released Virtuoso, a software plug-in for Winamp media player. The software transforms normal stereo sound into surround sound using proprietary digital-signal-processing (DSP). The plug-in lets the user design his or her listening environment, including speaker placement, room size, wall type and reverberation level, all in real-time.
