Blue Chip appoints director

Newly listed financial services and property company Blue Chip NZ has appointed the company's founder and majority shareholder Mark Bryers a director.

Chief executive Nick Wevers said last month, just after the company listed, that Bryers and business associate Bob Bangerter would be only consultants.

Blue Chip NZ got its listing by being taken over by listed Newcall Group, a shell company which had already sold its main assets.
