Engineering consultancy Beca Carter Hollings & Ferner won two of the three gold awards in this year's Innovate NZ awards, announced on Saturday night.
One of the awards went to the firm's Auckland office for its work on a 328m tower in Macau, and the firm's Wellington office won another gold for its computer modelling work to improve the efficiency of the region's water treatment plants and reservoirs.
The other gold award winner was Opus International Consultants for civil engineering work on State Highway 73, near Arthurs Pass.
The awards, for excellence in consulting engineering, are presented by the Association of Consulting Engineers New Zealand.
