Office relationships can make for some rather awkward watercooler moments - not to mention the inevitable kiss-and-tell stories making their way around the workplace.
But it seems that hasn't stopped these employees from embarking on full-on flings with their co-workers.
Men and women have taken to secret-sharing app Whisper, which lets users post anonymously, to lift the lid on the truth behind their secret affairs.
One woman revealed: "I slept with a coworker who has a baby and a girlfriend. I don't regret it, but I don't think my boyfriend will be happy either."
Another poster admitted to having sex with a colleague after getting "blackout drunk." She wrote: "I'm madly in love with my boyfriend of three years and we're getting engaged. Feel like a horrible person sometimes."
One woman discussed how her affair has a tendency to interfere with regular office work.
She explained: "I am having sex with a coworker. Sometimes I will send him dirty emails at work just to watch him get turned on at his desk."
Another poster wrote: "I slept with my coworker and it was so disappointing. I'm not sure what to do now to make it not awkward at work... This is why you don't start anything with coworkers."
One Whisper user added: "I'm a girl and I had sex with my coworker. I'm afraid it will be awkward between us now."
Posting anonymously, one commentator admitted to sleeping with her office crush - with disastrous results. She explained: "I slept with my coworker who I've liked for months. I guess nailing me gave him the confidence to go for the girl he actually wanted."
One embarrassed woman said: "I had sex with my coworker who's 25 years older than me because I wanted the "experience" and now he thinks we're a couple."
Another commenter added: "I had sex with my coworker in the empty office while working late. It was the hottest sex I've ever had."
One even revealed she had lost her job because of the office relationship.
She said: "I got fired because I got caught having sex with one of my coworkers in our conference room. It wasn't the first time."
One person said: "I had sex with my coworker - nothing serious. She won't stop flirting with me publicly."
A final commenter wrote: "I had sex with my coworker who might be in love with me. I don't want to date him."
While their confessions may be shocking, they are not as rare as they may seem; a recent study suggested one in three people has a romantic liaison with a colleague, and 28 per cent of British working women say they have had sex in the workplace.
