A 30-year-old Auckland man has fled after cutting off his electronic bracelet.
Alaric Eccleston breached his home detention conditions when he cut off his bracelet in April.
He has an active charge for allegedly assaulting someone using the butt of a firearm, police said.
There are several warrants out for his arrest.
Police have made many attempts to locate him through contacting his family and friends, in Auckland and Tokoroa.
He should not be approached by members of the public.
Anyone who sees him or knows where he is should call 111 immediately.
Non-urgent information can be given to acting Sergeant Tama Morehu at the Avondale Police on 09 820 5630.
In Wellington, police are looking for Lydon Keil also removed his electronic bracelet on June 27.
Keil was described as a 31-year-old Pacific Islander of solid build.
He had links to the Hutt Valley and Kapiti Mana area.
Police said he was considered dangerous and should not be approached.
