Art: "Danger Signs" by urban artist Anah Dunsheath at Parnell's Artis Gallery is a comment on the 'orangeing' of Auckland (i.e the proliferation of road cones in our city) and well worth a visit. It's part of the Naturally Urbane exhibition which runs from 22 May - 11 June.

Telly: From the dudes that bought you 7 Days, Hounds is a comedy set at the greyhound track starts next Friday. I've watched the first couple of episodes and it reminded me of Aussie classic The Castle - it reeks of kiwiness, is darkly funny and is bound to offend even if they changed the name of the greyhound called Lundybainwatson.
