The driver of a car in Wellington had a watery commute this morning.
A car has ended up in Lowry Bay after plunging off Marine Drive.
Emergency Services were called to the scene at 7.15am.
A police spokesman said the driver escaped with minor injuries and was out of the water by the time police arrived at the scene.
He said witnesses reported hearing a splash.
