The woman murdered in her Wellington home on Friday had just married and her funeral will be taken by the celebrant who married her and her husband.
The 37-year-old was killed on Tannadyce St in the suburb of Strathmore Park.
A woman, also 37, appeared in Wellington District Court yesterday morning where it was revealed she had a young child.
She was granted interim name suppression to tell her parents about the charges. She has a young son and police said in court she had never been in court or arrested before.

The victim had married three months ago, Fairfax reported.
The celebrant who performed her wedding would take her funeral.
The accused's next appearance is in two weeks in the High Court, but police are trying to move the date forward.
He said she has never been in court before or arrested.
The woman was found dead by emergency services shortly after 7.30pm last night.
Nobody else was being sought in relation to the incident.
On social media, several people said they heard gun shots about the time of the incident.
