A shed fire is believed to have sparked two other fires on a single street in Thames this afternoon.
Firefighters have managed to contain all three of the fires, with up to six appliances on Grey St from when the shed first caught alight shortly before 4pm.
The shed was "quite well involved" when firefighters arrived, Fire Service northern communications shift manager Tania Matthews said.
It is believed to have been "severely damaged" and embers from the fire may have been responsible for sparking other blazes.
The second was a small fire outside the Campbell Tube Products building at 201 Grey St, which started about 4.20pm.
Ten minutes later, a fire started on a roof at 207 Grey St.
Ms Matthews said conditions were windy and the second and third fires may have been sparked by embers from the first fire.
The causes of all three are still being investigated.
