The man involved in physical altercations at an Auckland skate park has pleaded guilty to two assault charges.
Craig Platt, 48, featured in a video in March where he appeared to shoulder-barge a teenager at a skating competition at Victoria Park and then later grab a man, Leighton Dyer, around the neck.
Platt originally faced one charge over the assault of the teenage boy at the skate park on March 25, but police laid a second charge against him for assaulting Mr Dyer at the same event.
Platt appeared at Auckland District Court today where he admitted the charges.
