An American high school student killed herself in a school toilet after telling her friends she wanted to end her life.
Meagan Allen, 15, reportedly took a handgun to Leander High School in Austin, Texas, and shot herself as friends and classmates walked the halls of the school and satin classes, about 12.30pm on Monday.
Local television station KVUE reported that Meagan, a Year 9 student, had told her friends she was going to take her own life.
Her friends failed to take her remarks seriously and were shattered later to discover she had gone ahead with her suicide plan.
It was the second death at the school in just over a week.
A 16-year old boy, named as Joey Sheehy, died from a suspected drug overdose at the school last week.
