A Kansas mother of six was shot dead in a horrific murder suicide on Saturday by her estranged husband who she had an order of protection against, according to her family.
Kristin Leigh Gile, 33, was with her father getting her children's things from the home she shared with RandyDean Gile, 33, in Derby at around 5pm, after believing he was in jail due to recent threats she had reported to police.
When she and her father arrived at the home they noticed a silver vehicle but since they did not recognize it they didn't think anything of it, the Daily Mail reports.
However, according to the GoFundMe page set up by Kristin's cousin, Randy had rented a car and had been following Kristin around undetected through the day.
Her cousin says Randy began shooting at Kristin and her father, Rick Florio. Rick, 55, was shot several times while Kristin tried to drive away and escape the barrage of bullets.

Randy, still in his vehicle, caught up to her SUV and side-swiped her, running her vehicle off the road where he shot her in the stomach and killed her, according to the GoFundMe page.
He then fatally shot himself according to the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office.
Her father Rick had minor injuries in the shooting.
Kristin's friends and family described her as a loving mother and friend.
'Confident, uplifting, strong, she would do anything for anybody at any given time. I don't think it would have mattered, she was the friend you wanted in your corner,' her friend Amanda Smith told KWCH.
Kristin, according to the GoFundMe, 'had been trying desperately to get out of an abusive marriage and was under a protection from abuse (PFA) order.'
'She had even spent a few months in a women's shelter.'
'She had recently moved herself and her children into her parents (Rick and Lisa Florio) home and was undergoing an Emergency divorce,' according to the GoFundMe page.
DailyMail.com reached out to the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, which has not responded.
