Marsupial lion skeleton uncovered

The world's first complete marsupial lion skeleton has been excavated from a cave on the Nullarbor Plains.

The Thylacoleo skeleton is part of a trove of bones of extinct giant marsupials, including a giant kangaroo, wallaby and lion.
