Two American newlyweds are riding high after tying the knot aboard a commercial flight mid-air.
Viral video of Roger and Tina Simpson’s high-altitude nuptials was posted this week by TikTok user Katrina Badowski, the Daily Mail reported.
The clip begins with a Southwest Airlines flight attendant speaking over the intercom, asking passengers to “remain seated as a courtesy to the bride and groom, and if you do have to use the lavatory, please use the one in the back of the aircraft”.
“As you know, Southwest is known as the love airline, and today love is in the air,” she adds.

If I Could Fly by One Direction then plays as Tina walks down the cabin aisle dressed in a knee-length, sleeveless white wedding dress, and ankle-strap heels.
Her look is topped off with drop-down diamond earrings and a pearl bracelet.
The radiant bride holds a bouquet of yellow and brown roses in one hand while gripping seatbacks with the other to steady herself on her way to her waiting groom.
Passengers are seen filming the moment on their phones as Roger, dressed in an orange shirt and striped tie, meets Tina at the front of the plane.
“Tina and Roger, today is a day unlike any other,” the celebrant says.
“Not only are you embarking on an adventure of marriage but you’re doing it amidst the clouds surrounded by 136 passengers turned to newfound friends.
“They say love knows no boundaries and indeed, thanks to Southwest, it now knows no altitude.”
After the exchanging of the vows and rings, the officiant pronounces the couple “man and wife”, telling Roger “you may now kiss your bride”.
Roger and Tina are then seen kissing to rapturous applause before high-fiving passengers and dancing back down the aisle.
Other highlights included Tina tossing her bouquet to the “single ladies” and passengers signing an official wedding guestbook.

The New York Post reported that after landing, travellers walked through a jet bridge decked out with pink streamers before Roger and Tina then boarded an airport buggy fitted with a “Just Married” sign.
Social media users flooded the comments to congratulate the couple, with others remarking on the novelty of the mid-air ceremony.
“Honestly it’s better than most in-flight entertainment they could have offered,” one TikTok user wrote.
“This is actually so fun. Who else can say they got married in the air?” another added.
A third called the wedding “perfection”, noting the couple “didn’t have to send invitations or rent a venue”, and enjoyed “a free caterer, bartender and sound equipment, non-alcoholic drinks and hors d’oeuvres for the entire guest list and a cash bar”.
