Assistant District Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald said prosecutors have turned over all the information they have, including grand jury minutes and medical reports.
Fitzgerald said the autopsy has been completed, but prosecutors are still waiting for reports being prepared by Boston Children's Hospital and other outside experts on broken bones the girl may have suffered in the weeks before she died.
The judge did not immediately rule on the requests.
Thompson has said McCarthy spent only 1 weeks out of the last two months of the girl's life caring for her because the girls' mother took her on two trips outside the country during that time.
The baby's parents told police McCarthy had been their nanny for about six months before the baby died.
After her arrest, immigration officials said McCarthy was in the country illegally after arriving from Ireland in 2002 under a tourist program. She was only authorized to stay 90 days.
