Hope Hicks has reportedly become the youngest person ever to be appointed White House communications director.
CNN reports the former model, 28, who has been filling the role in an interim position since the sudden departure of Anthony Scaramucci, has been given the job on a permanent basis.
Hicks willbe the third person to fill the role full-time since Trump took office in January, following Mike Dubke and Anthony Scaramucci.

Campaign spokesman Jason Miller was slated for the job following the election but he bowed out in December citing family reasons.
"She's got very good judgment. She will often give advice, and she'll do it in a very low-key manner, so it doesn't necessarily come in the form of advice. But it's delivered very nicely," he said.

Trump's lawyers thought Kushner should resign
The appointment comes amid news that some of Trump's legal team believed that his son-in-law Jared Kushner should have stepped aside before reports about his failure to disclose contacts with Russians became public.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Kushner, a senior adviser to the President and the husband of his daughter, Ivanka Trump, was in jeopardy of losing his job.
The paper reported that staffers had begun to prepare a statement in case Kushner was forced out.
However, Trump lawyer John Dowd denied the report, saying the view never made it to the president.
"I didn't agree with that view at all. I thought it was absurd," Dowd told the Journal. "I made my views known."
