Enigma code breakthrough 'dismissed as too simple'

British woman "Mrs BB" cracked a key component of Germany's Enigma encoding machine before the Second World War began, but her supervisors dismissed her theory as too simple, says a book, Action This Day.

The code was finally cracked by a team of thousands,
including chess masters and mathematics geniuses.
