After spotting the girl in the audience, Trump said: "By the way, that is the most beautiful little girl."
Inviting her on stage he asked: "Hi, do you want to come up and see me? Do you want to come up? Come on!"
When handing the girl back to her parents, he praised their parenting skills, saying: "Congratulations. What a job. What a beautiful person you are. They did a good job."
Trump went on to insist that voter fraud posed a significant threat to the integrity of the US electoral system, claiming the election could be rigged "at the polling booths".
"They even want to try to rig the election at the polling booths. And believe me, there's a lot going on," he said.
"Do you ever hear these people? They say there's nothing's going on. People that have died 10 years ago are still voting. Illegal immigrants are voting. I mean, where are the street smarts of some of these politicians?
"So many cities are corrupt," he added, "and voter fraud is very, very common."
