Cyclist pushed into bushes by passing car in shocking road rage incident

Shocking footage shows a thug reaching out of a car window and pushing a terrified cyclist off the road.

This is the shocking moment a gang of thugs push a helpless cyclist into a ditch.

Footage shows the three men pull up alongside the bike before one leans out of the window and shoves him sideways, knocking him off balance.

As the cyclist loses control and disappears into a hedge, the driver and his passengers can be heard laughing hysterically.

The video appears to be filmed by a passenger sitting in the back of the car.

Since being posted to Facebook it has been viewed more than 4,000 times, the MailOnline reported.

The footage was captured on a country lane, but it is not clear exactly where in the UK.

At the beginning of the clip, the car speeds along the road and the engine can be heard revving.

The passenger then says: "Get close to him and I'll knock him right in the hedge. Slow down to his speed."

Zooming up beside the passenger, the car comes dangerously close to knocking him down with the wing mirror.

It is then that the passenger wrenches himself through the window and uses both hands to push the cyclist.

Unprepared for the shocking assault, the rider ends up veering off the road.
