With a wave bye-bye to hospital workers who saved her life, Canadian miracle baby Erika Nordby left the Stollery Children's Health Centre in Edmonton at the weekend, more than a month after nearly freezing to death.
The 14-month-old toddler's heart had stopped and her body temperature was 16.2deg when emergency workers arrived at her home.
She was found lying in the snow after wandering outside during the night.
Despite lacking a normal heartbeat for at least two hours, Erika has made a complete recovery. She required minor surgery to one foot.
